Amanda Palmer is releasing an album of Radiohead covers recorded on ukelele. Why? Because she can.

The album can be purchased online for a donation here. I haven't heard it yet but I'll give it a listen at some point in the near future.

Meanwhile, NPR recently surveyed hundreds of female musicians about life on the road, life in the music business, and all that stuff. Their responses have been categorized and posted individually here. Check it out, very fascinating even though most of the women surveyed are not household names.
